Yeah. My ex H was cheating on me with several women including, I found out, basically starting a new family in another country where he travels frequently for work. He was extremely mentally and verbally abusive to me for many years. He has recently married one of his mistresses and his family, and so me and my daughter, found out via Facebook. Sigh. He sees our daughter intermittently when it's convenient for him and I have blissfully moved on with someone hotter, taller, and more successful who actually is nice to me. That's the nutshell.

I posted a few times -- I'm another from the Bay Area - mid-Peninsula.

The SNOLD thread got very quiet, people started disappearing and then posts were getting deleted. So, I just googled something about GOMI and missing users or something. Took me to reddit and then here. I hoped you had all found one another.

Hiiii guys! What a **** show at GOMI, so glad I found you all! People are still speculating about what happened to the SNOLD thread and those posts keep getting deleted - it currently says the last post was 2 days ago! My account is still active there (for now) so my username here is different (and btw Wanna, my first registration attempt didnt work, I never got an email, so I had to try again with a different username and email address. Can you delete my original request so maybe I can use that username? (IrishGoodbye). For now, this username makes it more obvious (I think) who I was over on SNOLD. Newbie poster over the last month or 2...from LA ;)

lol which username do you love? and thank you! I tried IrishGoodbye bc that's how I roll and I didn't want to get flagged and deleted by A on GOMI. MezcalMonday might get me deleted but frankly nothing is going on at GOMI now after whatever the f she did.

I'm so glad I found you guys!! I kept up with SNOLD religiously although I wasn't a poster there. (My gomi username was dog related but not this... I was in the Breakups thread a while ago and posted a little bit in Careers and a few other random places but otherwise I was mostly a lurker.) I posted yesterday asking what happened, got a few replies and then when I checked later in the evening, my post and all the replies after it were gone. Totally blew my mind... didn't get banned but I may just delete my account. I was driving to work this morning and realized you were all way too active to just let the conversation die so I did a quick Google when I got to the office and here we are!

If anyone isn't banned yet, you can tell if GGG and Dennis have been banned by looking at their past posts. If all info besides their name is gone, then they're banned. I'd be curious to know...

Dennis (Fly Fishing), GGG, Friel and Kylie are not yet banned. Friel has posted a few times in different threads, but I don't remember Dennis or GGG or Kylie having posted anything recently. It is quite possible that they posted "where is everyone" and got deleted.

GGG last posted on 7/25 in SNOLD and I haven't seen her post in other threads but I'm not sure I'd know where to look. Firiel is still posting and I think Poop Guac is too - not in SNOLD though, no one is really posting over there.

I got banned from GOMI for sending someone a PM to a reddit thread where they talked about the SNOLD thread. Apparently even REFERENCING that Reddit exists is a ban-able offense. I knew something had gone down when SBO disappeared and thats when the mass banning always happen. It's such a weird dictatorship she runs.
If you want to try to get a hold of people over there (GGG and others from the SNOLD).. you can always create a new username/account and send a bunch of pm's to direct people then get banned again. She's not the most savvy tech person so if you do it from your phone its pretty easy. I wanted to send someone my email when I was pretty randomly banned and did it that way.

I googled "Banned from GOMI" and found this board. I'm glad I'm not the only one! I thought there might be a technical problem, but I was unable to start new accounts under two different email lists. Then when I tried to send a message asking about it, it said the message could not be sent. I guess my IP is blocked too.

I'm not sure why. Those political discussions got pretty heated, particularly when Bacon in Beans or Mazel Tov started in on someone, but I don't sink to the level of name calling. I did like a lot of the forums. I think that even if there was some nastiness from some people, for the most part, there were some pretty supportive communities. People had some genuine difficulties and I think there was a lot of anonymous support.

Me...I just like to snark on the Real Housewives!

Hi to everyone who I feel like I know who don't know me because I never posted on SNOLD but lurked on all the time. Ended my 20-year marriage last year (great dad, ****ty husband - similar issues to what others have posted about their ex's) and started thinking about online dating so lurked in the thread. Before I jumped into the online dating world I ended up meeting a guy from New England (I'm in NC) and now find myself in a long distance relationship having the best sex of my life (another reason I enjoyed lurking on the thread). So we both have teen kids in school so no moving plans for now but if things work out he wants to move to NC. In the meantime, I work remote so just travel up to his place and work while my ex has the kids. So glad I found y'all over here!

Thanks! I was married twice by the age of 26. My joke with my friends is I married a beater and then a cheater, what's next, a compulsive over-eater? Have no desire to get married again so my username is somewhat tongue in cheek. My bf has been married several times as well so the consensus is that we're not very good at it, let's just have hot sex. :)
