Hey guys! I am formerly Live From Martin's Couch. I was "Richard's Grotesque Goody Headband" for a short bit there in the end. I still can't believe how many people got the boot. I thought for sure it was just me when I realized I was deleted. There are some great hams on GOMI, especially in the Members Only threads, but my eyes have really been opened to Alice's antics. I'm so happy to reconnect!

I just don't get mass banning people who did nothing wrong. You're just shooting yourself in the foot losing all the clicks.

I wont lie, I miss Travel, Politics, and how on earth will I keep up with Anette???

but otherwise, eh..Ill be over it by weeks end.

Let me know if you want new threads added. I think you can all start them your self, but I am happy to do what I can.
I just kept it super clean but I can add colour, etc if people want.

I just hope more banned people join us!

I don't get it AT ALL. I have wracked my brain thinking of what it could be other than we exchanged contact info...

I can't imagine exchange contact info via PM would be a deal breaker though.... Who knows with crazy pants! But that would also only explain a few of us from the SNOLD thread, not everyone else who she banned.

You would think she would want to keep us SNOLDs around for all of our BJ techniques, she likely could have used some of them herself!

And yes, I hope more people find us!

I will miss the crazyness of a few blogs but I am already over it. I don't think we need colour or anything, I already love how much faster and how clean it is. I am so impressed that you were able to throw this together in a day, I wouldn't ever be able to do anything like this, so thanks AGAIN!

The best part is that even if Alice decides to join and see if we're talking about her, SHE CAN'T REMOVE US. I am seriously glad to be reunited with some of you! I hope more join, too!

What up y’all? I used to be a reference to a season 6 rupauls drag race contestant who flew away and this is my new user. I’m 24/F and am enduring the dating scene in nyc. I thought about trying to send Alice a message on GOMI (my IP isn't banned.... yet) asking why I was banned, but then decided it wasn't worth it. She would probably feel too flattered that I was concerned about being kicked out of her club.

Worst was just banned, so we should see her soon

GGG is SUPER popular on GOMI, so I have a hard time seeing her get banned. 

I feel bad because JPA is moving to SF and she is transferring her JL to here and we had just exchanged PMs about meeting up

yup, I gave it 24 hours thinking it may have just been a random glitch that was being fixed as I didn't think I did anything wrong.... and once it wasn't fixed I ran as fast as my little legs would carry me to Reddit and BAM I found my people again!

Another yup. I've been subscribed to blogsnark since the night it was first linked in the forums. At this point it seems like anyone who has spent more than a little time on GOMI knows about reddit and, since the recent banning spree, more posters are openly hinting about the site-that-must-not-be-named.

Tangentially, Alice has been deleting a lot of posts asking about banned users. I'm surprised the lasts page of the SF thread has been allowed to stand for 24 hours.

Hey guys! Still not banned from GOMI yet so I picked a different name (but I think I may have stolen someone's GOMI identity?) I'm mostly in the general chat and Annette threads. Like the PP I don't want to out my gomi ID yet so that I can keep up with Alice's freak outs and ban hammering. It's been DEAD over there the last few days. Hmmmm... I wonder why?

The Member's Only section is seeing post turnover in the threads you might expect (royal conspiracies, Tondello, Mama Laughlin) but, beyond the Last Post column on the forum homepage, it's pretty dead. 

It's fairly difficult to tell what the majority of posters know/realize about the recent bannings because any questions or speculation, genuine or more pointed, is being deleted.

This is in addition to Alice now deleting posts that do not agree with her opinions (e.g., some posters in the FF thread claimed that FF Richard was aggressively shaking Baby Fox while dressing her. Speculation--about shaken baby syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, accusations that there is something wrong with him and the five month old baby-- abounds.  A more balanced poster came in and said that, sure, Richard may be a skeezy headbanded man, but he was not close to murdering the baby. A second poster agrees. Five minutes and a page refresh later, both posts were deleted and it was back to a circlejerk about Richard the baby shaking future child murderer.) It's weirder and more disjointed around there than usual, which is saying something.

But there are still a few smart, funny people posting, and they  make it difficult to leave entirely.

I basically lurked around College Prepster, SummerWind and Seersucker & Saddles, but the only place I was active anymore was SNOLD soo... Whatever. Although my username is from Hungry Runner Girl. I'm pretty sure I got banned for asking where SBO and Wanna were and then wondering out loud where wanna's last two posts had gone.
I hope more people migrate over here! Maybe the reddit blogsnark mods will post a link in their sidebar for people who miss Member's Only to come here? I don't want them to feel like we're 'stealing' people, but it's more.. complementary to blogsnark!

Yeah, I'm definitely curious about who else has gotten banned and what caused this latest ban frenzy!!
I'm pretty sure the SNOLD bans started with some of us PMing each other contact info and then others asking where banned users had gone. (But there had also been some lurkers on the thread who had made pointed somewhat judgey comments recently so I don't know if that was a factor.)

Deleting measured, rational posts in the FF thread makes NO SENSE to me, especially after what Alice posted about her before.

So....I basically almost never commented on the online dating thread but I enjoyed reading it and keeping up with everyone. Then yesterday I asked what had happened to everyone and this morning my post had been erased. So I posted again basically asking why i was being censored when I hadn't violated the terms of service and..... Now I'm banned. So umm.. Hi!

I know. It was extra crazy because I basically never comment!! Two years ago when I was online dating I posted maybe three or four times then met my current fiance and so now I just happily read everyone's adventures with like one comment a year! Also I'm such a rule follower in real life - I've never been banned from anything before. It's nuts!
